　　High-valent iron-oxo species have been postulated as key intermediates in various pivotal biological and industrial processes. To rationalize their diverse reactivity, one has to analyze their electronic structures in detail, because electronic structures and reactivity are intimately linked. The talk will present our recent work on the correlation of electronic structures with reactivity for a series of iron(IV)-oxo complexes.
